The scope of services provided by BWF Construction are pursuant to Task Orders issued by CHA.
Task include but not limited to, maintenance, facility repair, alteration, rehabilitation, and
modernization at CHA-owned or controlled properties of the types listed below:

Single, small medium and large family properties

General Construction services (includes but is not limited to):

Perform repairs, restoration of concrete and masonry, window and door replacement, and all other building envelope features.

Replace all building sealants, Repair of existing roof and or installation of new roof, (warranty included) if required; Perform all necessary demolition or removal.

Carpentry Work, Iron Work, Painting.

Provide and install new kitchen appliances.

Repair and restore equipment and built in furnishings
-
Demolish/ repair / restore streets pavement and walkways, site lighting, fencing, refuse areas, masonry Screen walls, landscaping, and site drainage, ensuring ingress and egress are in full compliance with the code compliance requirements.

Environmental Remediation
-
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements / upgrades
-
Any other general construction work deemed necessary for the successful completion of a general construction project.

Pilot Porch Program

BWF Construction is proud to have collaborated with The Chicago Housing Authority on their Porch Pilot Program. Our team successfully handled the removal, fabrication, and installation of porches across various CHA properties in Chicago. In addition to this, we provided landscaping services, as well as exterior light repair and replacement, along with sidewalk repair and replacement. This project showcases our commitment to enhancing community spaces and ensuring safety for residents.



CHA Make Ready Units
Demolition, stripping and waxing of floors, replacing and installation of new floors and baseboard in some units, removing and replacing cabinets in the kitchen, removal and replacing vanities and medicine cabinets in bathrooms, installation of bathroom toilets, tub surrounds, fixtures, installation of blinds in units. Remove and replace damaged drywall, painting, remove and replace doors throughout units, removal and installation of cabinets for ADA units, installation of LED Lighting and GCFI throughout units, and installation and replacements of outlet covers.
